The involvement of community leaders, parents, and educators in the planning process can ensure that the new school meets the needs of the local community and provides the best possible educational experience for its students.

Expansion Updates
Cherokee County
Liberty has collected over 900 expressions of support from families in Cherokee County and the surrounding area; in-person and online information sessions will continue to ensure we reach the entire attendance zone (Cherokee, Cobb, Bartow, Fulton, Pickens, Paulding, and the cities of Marietta, Cartersville, and Atlanta). Liberty intends to apply to the Cherokee County Board of Education and the State Charter Schools Commission in May, and we hope to receive approval by October of this year. Our proposed start date, depending on facilities and approvals, is August 2025 or 2026 with grades K-6. Fayette County
More than 800 people from Fayette and surrounding counties (Clayton, Coweta, Spalding, Henry, and Fulton) have completed the expression of interest for a school to be located in Fayette County. Liberty is following the process to request a new charter and has applied to both the Fayette County Board of Education and State Charter Schools Commission, and our team is in the process of securing a school location in Fayette or Coweta County. As with Cherokee County, our proposed start date is August 2025 or 2026 with grades K-6.
