Training School Leaders

We believe that the key to a successful school is a strong leader. However, there is often inadequate support and training for new school leaders, and thus, there is a high rate of attrition in the profession.

Liberty has designed a two-year school leadership fellowship to prepare candidates who have been selected to lead new Liberty schools. The first year will include classwork, teaching, and directed mentorship at an existing school. During the second year, leadership fellows will continue with directed mentorship while preparing for the new school’s opening.
